Mike Hammond - 'Debate Harrogate Traffic Congestion.' 18 June 2018

    On Tuesday 18 June Rotarian Mike Hammond chaired a Debate entitled ‘Harrogate Traffic Congestion.’

    Speakers were Martin Gerrard the Vice President of Harrogate Chamber of Commerce and John Fox the Chair of Harrogate BID, who took part. There was considerable discussion about options involving, car parks, cycling, public transport, children/schools and changing behaviour. Thoughts were expressed regarding the provision of a new ‘relief road’ to rid the town centre of congestion. This was a vibrant debate and well received by the club.
