We started at Greenhow and walked along Nidderdale Way towards Pateley Bridge and into the heart of lead mining, returning to Coldstones and Toft Gate. Our leader was Kelvin Burkinshaw, who provided a historical perspective. Walkers today were Kelvin Burkinshaw, Peter Wood, John Wood, Graham Chilvers and David Crowther (Not forgetting our dog ‘Jet.’! A walk not to be missed!
