    Remembrance Sunday this also fell on the 100th anniversary of the Armistice. which made it a very special occasion. The prominence of attendees included soldiers from Army Foundation College (120), School Children (40) Ashville College and VIP (19)wreath layers with, Rev Brian Hunt Deputy Lord Lieutenant and Councillor Bernard and Linda Bateman , Mayor and Mayoress and our local Member of Parliament Andrew Jones, Ruth Townrow President of Harrogate Brigantes Rotary Club.


    The Service was conducted by The Reverend David Hoskins - Emertus Chaplin, Harrogate District Hospital, with excellent support by Harrogate Band. The Junior Soldiers were accompanied by School Children, who laid a single rose on every War Grave. A newly commissioned ‘Armistice Anthem’ by Phil Wilby and Guy Wilson, was played during the service.
